Naval hospital in Pula

Naval Hospital in Pula (Marinespital) is one of two hospitals in the city of Pula, which together represent the Pula General Hospital. Back in Autsroungaric times, when the port of Pula became the main navy port of the Empire, there was an huge increase in the fleet, sailors and soldiers in Pula and thretfore the idea of a new hospital were imergerd.

More recently, at the end of August 2000, in the historical building of the former Navy Hospital (Marinespital) in Pula, some departments of the General Hospital in Pula were relocated, and thus be fulfilled eight years long-anticipated relocation of these departments, and performed it necessary and often times awaited revitalization of this famous medical monument.
