The Church of St Nikola in Pješčana Uvala
The Church of St Nikola is located on a hill that looks over Pješčana Uvala, and has a form of a blue-white ship. The bell tower is actually a lighthouse. The construction started in 1999 and finished on the 30th May 2001. It was dedicated to St Nikola, protector of the sailors and passengers. During the dedications, St Mauro and St Leopold Bogdan Mandic powers were built into the altar. Holy mass is being held every Sunday and during holy days in 9.30 h. The church is also a place for the weddings and baptisms. It was built based on the design of Eliđo Legović.
