The church of St Elysees in Fažana

Located north from the old part of Fažana, it was built on the remains of the object from late Antiquity in the other half of the 6^th century. Sacred building of small size and height with polygonal apse which has a stone transenna on its arch windows. The facade features a rectangular door with two small windows closed with stone blocks with differently shaped openings. There is an arch transenna in the rectangular window above the door, which fits the apse window’s transenna by its details. In the interior there is a stone altar. Around 50 meters from the church, in the 80s, there were the remains of oil and wine press notices. The site have never been excavated.
