Hydroplane  Pula

The existing location of a hydroplane pier is located within the port of Pula (Riva) and its open to public traffic. The goal of building a hydroplane pier in Pula is the establishment of air travel links to Croatian islands and along the Croatian coast, especially  the northern Adriatic and Dalmatia. This type of traffic operation compared to traditional maritime transport is much faster and improves traffic connections and communication of the City of Pula towards the Adriatic coast and Croatian islands, and enhances the tourist offer of Istria County.

The hydroplane pier was built in late 2014 in cooperation with the City of Pula, Port of Pula and private investors, under the auspices of the IPA ADRIATIC CBC Programme – a project ADRI–seaplanes.
