Gortan Cove Beach Pula

Gortan Cove Beach is located in the cove of the same name. It is part of the well-known Pula boardwalk Lungomare. Surrounding area is rocky with the shades from the pine trees, while its central part is pebble. The beach is filled with stair-like plateaus and it has a very shallow entrance to the sea, which makes it perfect for families with kids and older persons. Gortan Cove Beach is very small, so it can be crowded during the summer. Above the beach is a monument to Vladimir Gortan, a hero, and a beach bar Pomidor where you can get refreshments. You can arrive to the beach by car since there are many free parking spaces. There is a safe net in the cove which increases security for the bathers. Many young people come to the beach in the summer evenings. In the vicinity there is Hotel Pula and a recreational path.
