Kozada Island
Kozada Island is an inhabited island and a part of the National Park Brijuni Islands. It is located right next to Sv. Jerolim Island. The length of an island is 460 m, and there is a devastated pier on the northeastern side. There are visible remains of hidrobaza which was built in 1913. Hidrobaza on Puntižela was built the same year. During World War I, hydro-planes were used for the protection of Pula and Trieste.
They were used for reckon and battle. In 1917 there was a maritime air-force command in Pula, along with hydro-plane school, base and a facility for the construction of the planes.
